Xuanang Xu, Ph.D.

Dr. Xuanang Xu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Before joining RPI, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working at the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Research Imaging Center at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill. He obtained his Ph.D. in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems from Beihang University in 2019. His research interests focus on medical image segmentation, especially CT image segmentation in the application context of radiology, using machine learning techniques.
