Bio

My Name is Nkechinyere N. Agu, I am a third-year Ph.D. student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, studying Machine Learning at the Computer Science Department. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from Baze University in Nigeria (2015). Following my Bachelor's Degree, I obtained a Master's Degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2019). My research focus is on the automatic description of x-ray images. The primary aim of my work is to integrate semantic methods with deep learning models to accurately describe the contents of X-Ray Images.
 

I'm an IBM AIHN scholar co-advised by Prof. James A. Hendler and Prof. Pingkun Yan at RPI in collaboration with Dr. Mehdi Moradi at IBM Research Almaden.
