Hengtao Guo, Ph.D.

My name is Hengtao Guo, and I am a PhD student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Wuhan University with my research focused on image-based 3D scenery reconstruction and auto image stitching. For the next few years, I will be concentrating on medical image analysis and multi-modality image registration using deep learning. My goal is to create practical methods and tools to assist physicians in disease diagnosis and treatment with artificial intelligence.
