I am Cameron T. Jackson, an uprising Junior at The Grambling State University of Louisiana from Birmingham, Alabama. I am exploring the exciting fields of Computer Science, Math & Physics with a biomedical concentration. Currently, I now have the distinct pleasure of being a research student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of New York in Bioengineering (REU-2019).
The rapid manufacturing of technology, nanotechnology and the constant upgrades to the new developments in the medical world was an eye opener for me. I knew that I would be interested in biomedical science, biotechnology, computational math/science, material science manufacturing and engineering. I am great with coming up with solutions for problems, analyzing rates of change in data, computing information, and examining issues in a variety of aspects to find the most efficient solution to difficult problems. I have always had a way for making sure issues were solved with efficiency and creativity.
In the future, I’m looking forward to obtaining, both, my master and doctorate degrees. I have much to learn and the power to succeed. Since doing research here at Rensselaer, the deep process and intensity of Medical Imaging has become something I wish to also look further into.
